3.2 RTM HDD Hot Swap and Installation

3.2.1 Installing the Hot Swap RTMHDD

To install the RTMHDD:

1- Make sure the RTM is secured in place, i.e. both thumbscrews are screwed into the chassis.

2- Carefully engage the RTMHDD into the guide. Push it until it fully mates with its connector. Secure

the hard disk handle to the locking position.

3- The HDD blue LED will start to blink to indicate that the hotswap process is started. It will turn off at

the end of the sequence.

3.2.2 Removing the Hot Swap RTMHDD

To remove the RTMHDD:

1- Make sure the RTM is secured in place, i.e. both thumbscrews are screwed into the chassis.

2- Pull out the handle to unlock the RTMHDD

3- Wait for the blue LED to turn solid on (100% on).

4- Pull out the RTMHDD using the handle.
